To do great things, I prayed for strength.
For me to have humility, He gave me weakness.
To do many things, I prayed for health.
For me to do something more precious, He gave me illness.
To become happier, I prayed for wealth.
For me to be wiser, He gave me poverty.
To obtain the world's praise, I prayed for success.
For me to not boast, He gave me failure.
He gave me a Life to be lived
Although He did not give me anything I asked for,
He granted all my hopes.
It was a life that could not follow His will,
Yet He answered all my unspoken prayers.
I am the most blessed person.
