Little by little, everyday

Had a wonderful conversation with mother this morning. I am so grateful to our Heavenly Father for letting us comprehend our own self-righteousness, which often yields nothing but garbage. We also talked about how even still, God uses certain people's self-righteousness to bring glory to Himself. Ironically.

Great is Thy faithfulness.

What can I bring to God but this very broken self and the desire to be freed from my own sin. I am so grateful for our daily bread and shelter, and other countless undeserved blessings that I drink up from knowing Him through His Son -- for the lot that He has allowed me to share in His kingdom.

It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all.

Have a blessed Christmas everyone.

O holy night, the stars are brightly shining;
It is the night of the dear Savior’s birth!
Long lay the world in sin and error pining,
Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope, the weary soul rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees, O hear the angel voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born!
O night, O holy night, O night divine!
