Happy Love Day

One beautiful day,

Deceivingly or fittingly.

Varying moods stroll across,

Some stained in grey glass

Some chuckling in pink.

Freudian Eros grins knowingly,

Arrows rampant in sidewalk philosophía.

Long since the forgotten Isis,

All-embracing, all-sacrificing.

Misguided artificials of a rose;

Misconstrued meanings of a heart.

Even still dormant hearths kindle

To burst into childlike service

To spring up natal smiles

To anticipate unfeigned loves.

For there remains amidst warts

One agape theon.
