Green Whistles

Azalea festivals along the boulevard

A long winding river of life

Evergreens and pearl rays springing

Shadows hint at light cotton fungi

Classicism and bricks savaged under.

Hand-picked bouquets and admirers

Rosy petals giggle behind an earlobe

Winter kamanis dance sunshades

Spring flames rekindled

Strawberry stained skylines

Sifting honey lemon twilights

Along the crimson stills ascends a phoenix.

Helios rides to Olympus

And golden blades whirl shines home.
