Desires

I listened to this excellent sermon a couple weeks back... As expected of brother Piper, always grace-filled about such hard topics.  God is, as always, impeccable with His timing in leading me to listen to this.  These are my current desires:

(1) To experience deeper fellowship with other Christians in the community, both in the Word and in everyday life.
(2) To contribute to fruitful, God-glorifying ministry, in accordance with authority in the local church, my spiritual gifts, and the unity of the Holy Spirit.
(3) To be discipled by an older, wiser Christian in my current chapter of life.


As you might have guessed, my prolonged "trial" continues to be with loneliness.  I often miss the days filled with (1) and (2) but try not to dwell on it.

At any rate, still blessed to be one of His own.
