Piper's Plea: "Plan!"

This is old, but is a great article with much wisdom (thank you, brother Piper!).  Because I live against cultural pressures that exalt spontaneity over careful planning, I have often wondered if there is something neurotic about me for trying to plan for every area of my life, both short-term and long-term.

This is not to say that I have already become perfect; I am still learning much about life management and finding that there is always more room to improve.  But I am encouraged that I am on the right path.  The enterprise of regular planning is to live out God's wisdom, to maximize fruitfulness for His Kingdom, and to express His image more fully in me.
