Anno Domini

Heavy rhythms draw nearer;

Granite cores beating inside my head

Whispering the battlecries of lies and truth.

Clear-cut reflections upon the winter blades of Athena;

I drink of the Olympian nectar and breathe life.

The enemy approaches.

Beast awaits me and the Coliseum roars for my blood.

Bounded by the law, my name a criminal's.

Rescuer intervenes, a name high and noble.

Exchanged His place for my own,

Logos victorious.

Breaking the chains of winter, dead dandelions awake,

Allow for cosmos specks to dance

And silent cerulean sings.
