"UH GIVE IT UH GIVE IT!!!"

After approximately the 4015th time, you would think that I have proven myself to Gloria.

I wish she would trust me to give her a healthy, balanced lunch plate filled with foods that she loves to eat.  (I am not talking about giving her some bizarre hipster vegan stuff, such as edamame, spinach and walnuts tossed with pasta.  OK, so that was dinner last night which she did not like.  But that's besides the point.)

I wish she would trust me to wash her hands before she eats and not cry with great tears as if I don't care a thing about her when I order my activities differently from her current whims for a good reason.  ("I will not wash your hands right now, because I have to make your lunch.  But I will wash your hands before we eat.  OK?" "WAHHHHH WASH HANDS... WAHHHHH....")

I wish she would know by now, that I feed her at the right times so that she will neither suffer excessive hunger nor have an unhealthy sense of false satisfaction because of constant snacking throughout the day.

I wish she would trust me to give her good things, to do the right thing at a proper good time.

Being a mother of a two-year old reminds me a lot of my relationship with my Heavenly Father.
