(1) I am incapable of loving unselfishly, be it God or others.
(2) God is still infinitely faithful.
(3) I am monstrously wretched, but not beyond redemption.
Have you ever thought, "Why do all these people whom I judged in the past love me so much?!"
I have. Because it's happening right now. Funny how your opinions of people shift so much according to how much they love God/love you.
I need to repent for a long time.
"If anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. (What the heck? God has every cause to judge every one of us!)
(But) He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day." (John 12:47-48)
To those who receive Him, passing from death to life. To those who reject Him, The Judge's judgment.
Be comforted, or be fearful, of these truths.
