Good (?) Friday

Last night, I had a really informative service about the Seder tradition at church and a really good time with Laura, conversing about faithfulness of God and thanking Him for His love and goodness to us. Praise God for His indescribable gift and such an endearing friend! I am excited to continue to grow in my friendship with her and share the awesome life that God has given us.

"I will praise You,
For You have answered me,
And have become my salvation."
(Ps. 118:21)

I am also excited for the wedding recently, not because of the physical things that are associated with it (that which have somehow become a sort of stigma to me by now), but because it will (hopefully) be a testament to His faithfulness in redeeming and joining two sinful people together. I am excited to share my life during next few months with people whom I hold most dear.

I am also very excited for spending time with godly women as the wedding approaches -- Laura, Katheryn, Liz, and hopefully other people who will still be in town! For my bachelorette party, I really want a time of reflection, prayer, and encouragement with them before the ceremony. It will be good to reflect on God's goodness, love and faithfulness and to be encouraged by each other's prayers.

What better way to prepare for a celebration of marriage?

I can't wait. :)
