Hmm...

I can't seem to stop writing depressing things. Oh well. Not the best; I just felt like writing whatever. (How emo.)

The Disappearing Life

Motionless, I lay aside the shore
My blanket an entwined irony
Of carefree cotton white & sand
In my left ear, half a trump shell tells
Countless tales of summer loves
That had swept Poseidon's halls
Across generations and generations.

Sweetest tunes of Orpheus
Mold into my heart certain sorrows
In reality, a nostalgia from the future
Unseen with mortal eyes and yet to come

Elysium calls to me
I reach out, only falling short
Ocean wind hits my face
Salt leaves its rough trace along liplines
Left in beach exhaustion.
Tears stroll sideways
And dream continues.
