Good, but not impressed.
I will have to read the books before I can really judge, but it seemed very typical of a fantasy movie. I understand that fantasy usually has many borrowed elements from religion, mythology, etc. But I felt that it was less an original work than an admixture of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings.
Ah, well. Edward Speleers was still nice to look at. Did you know that he was suggested for the role of Peter Pevensie? Maybe he could've been a better actor for that.
