Wandered in Death's jealous nightfall
For a monster, Love is a burden.
Honest Romeo caught up in a duel's twist;
Approaches crooked and lives taken.
Heavenly aria from the angel in Hell –
In his beautiful voice, all the sorrows of the world.
Soprano sheds tears for the piteous heart,
Feeling her heart warm up in nightmares.
Fiancé leads her from the shadows' horror.
Eternal promise, secretly made
Masquerading, faithless Ring mocks the vow.
Lamentations sing of disaster.
The Phantom remains behind,
Born of the darkness, to return to darkness.
Twilight envelops him and,
The legend leaves Symphony Posthumous,
With no one to let its music take flight.
Aw, poor guy. :(
