So what if I conversed with the air?
What if my praise was merely vanity?
What if you didn’t care?
What if… all efforts conclude in futility?
Follow every simple gesture
Admire every vibration, every note sung
Love, of such art one cannot censure
Hold me while you dance, fierce and strong
Alas, strange future promises us nothing
But contentment in the present will suffice
And though of our mischief they may sing
Who dare name rosy cheeks Vice?
So trip a couple of times, tread in air
Perfection is but a myth; it is your errors that I adore
I’ll be here when you need a shoulder
Because you’re still but a toddler…
