I really enjoyed Chris and Stephanie's wedding today. Everything was beautiful, of course, and everyone looked beautiful... But it's not the beautiful things --though they were from God-- that made their wedding so enjoyable and fun. God showed up at their wedding--the Creator of all things beautiful, fun, and awesome!!
It just shows that despite all the crappy things in this world, something really cool happens when God steps into our lives. Despite all the evils and heartaches that Satan and our flesh produce in weddings and marriages... when God does something, there arises something very beautiful, pure, and good: ("Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow." Amen!)
