Moon Wade

Waltz --
'Tis a merry diversion --
The celestial pearl plays with light and shade
As twilight falls upon us

In confusion
My troubled heart cried out;
You kissed the hills of my hand,
Hushing my groanings.

In ease you
Held me in your arms
& my soul took flight;
Far beyond the realm of human words.

While we borrow
Only the shadows of true Love
Still I wallow in this bliss of
Fondness for you

That night --
The starry canopy opened up above us.
We embraced and the world laughed;
We embraced and the world laughed.

We had fallen in love
Accidentally

  1. Twilight?

    Twilight is upon us, and soon night must fall.
