Not been writing Three Kingdoms recently. Other than working, I've been... not doing much. Broke my diet for a week, getting back on track now. Missed all the recent World Cup games because of work. In short, I have no real excuse. Just been slacking and baking a lot. You know, chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies... You know how that consumes you.
Beach and friends on Friday. I'm hoping for some inspirations, not for the story but for some serious poetry action. I haven't written a good one in a while. This next one is kind of impromptu, but I felt the obligation to post it as I haven't written anything in the past week or so. Hope you enjoy. :-)
Crème de la Crème
Breakfast Eggstravaganza.
Coffee's warm smile to a tired campus crusader.
Omelette's homely aroma, served with green minions.
Showered everything on my desk in good morning orange juice.
Condensation on squash leaves, cheerful hello from the sun.
Cotton blossoms in the sky, key lime tastes to the eye.
I make dash for them, coming two fathoms short.
Yayy, I liked that poem...:D Especially the coffee line. Hehe.
