Uneasy eyes,
Strained posture,
Artificial kisses.
You’re always forced to smile.
What’s wrong? I ask.
You merely look into my eyes.
Oh, warm summer skies
And broken promises
Terrible seize,
Uninterrupted doubt.
Unknown fear, inquiries.
Will I lose him?
Seeing you with my waking eyes
Hearing your empty voice, I feel nothing.
To feel everything.
Every color of emotion passes through.
Pale crystals fall and shatter;
My hands are still clasping yours.
I will brainwash myself;
Stop loving him, stop loving this.
Petals of eternal sorrow,
Marks of perpetual injury,
Failure to love another one,
All my rightful mistakes.
Red Lupine survives until all stars perish.
